Already at an early age he shows a marked artistic inclination. At the age of eight he participated in the musical (Il Ballo del Qua Qua) by Al Bano and Romina. The following year she attended a modern dance course with Federica Ferrari, founder of the National Academy of Dance in Rome. Thanks to his marked sensitivity to music, he began to study classical guitar with a private teacher. During his adolescence he participated in numerous singing competitions and was a regular member of his own church choir. Later the passion for rock was born: in 1996 he formed a band called Warriors together with a group of friends, with whom until 2001 he toured many countries (squares and universities) to spread a message of hope through music.

In 2001, when the Warriors group broke up, he moved to Rome, where he voluntarily served in the fire department. During his stay in the capital, he attended the U.M. (University of Music) a singing course with teacher Elizabeth Sabine, known for following many artists such as Axl Rose (Guns’n’Roses), Dave Mustaine (Megadeth), Michael Sweet (Stryper) and many others.

In 2004 he met record producer Joshua W Hernández and began his music career.  In 2006 he was awarded a silver disc, while in 2009 a gold disc. Over the years he has performed numerous songs written by authors such as Juan Gabriel, Emilio Estefan, Kike Santander. He has had collaborations with famous musicians such as; Vinnie Colaiuta, Alex Acuna, Abraham Laboriel, Michael Landau, Phil Palmer, Phil Maidera.

In 2012 comes the opportunity to perform a duet with the great John Schlitt, legendary voice of the group Head East, subsequently voice of the Christian rock group Petra. Five years after Schlitt’s departure from Head East, he received a call from Bob Hartman and was invited to audition for Christian rock band Petra. The band had just lost its lead singer Greg X. Volz, who had left to pursue a solo career. After a session with Hartman (band’s co-founder and guitarist), he was asked to join the band. He sang his first show on February 3, 1986, beginning a career that would span nearly two decades. His first album with the band was the 1986 release Back to the Street.

During his career with Petra, the band released two RIAA certified Gold albums (Beyond Belief and Petra Praise: The Rock Cries Out) and earned four Grammy and numerous Dove Awards. His travels and performances with the group reached all 50 American states as well as over 35 countries.

Davi & John have created the song “Praise Ye The Lord”, a work made in an American rock style 80’s style. The song has collaborated with names such as Marcello Surace (Drum), Michael Landau (Guitar), Saverio Garipoli (Arranged), Mario Guarini (Bass) . The realization of the song took place between Italy and Nashville, mixed by Joe Greco Los Angeles CA and mastered by Fabrizio de Carolis (Rome Italy)
