The Virginmarys premiere fiery ‘S.O.S.4.U.N.I.’ video

The Virginmarys have premiered the video for their latest single ‘S.O.S.4.U.N.I.’ exclusively on Planet Rock.

Just like previous single ‘Look Out For My Brother’, ‘S.O.S.4.U.N.I.’ is lifted from The Virginmarys’ acclaimed November 2018 album ‘Northern Sessions’.

Vocalist/guitarist Ally Dickaty and drummer Danny Dolan comment: “‘ S.O.S.4.U.N.I.’ is a fan favourite from the new album ‘Northern Sun Sessions’, it’s amazing to play live and gets everyone up. The song is probably the most frantic on the album but possibly the catchiest also.”

Commenting on the fiery video, they added: “We decided we wanted something completely off the wall, very odd and crazy in comparison to our previous videos, so we channelled James Bond 007 voodoo imagery from the film ‘Live And Let Die’ and mashed it up with Rob Zombie Hammer Horroresque pictures.

“The initial idea was that we were to appear as apparitions in a kind of Star Wars hologram look which would be accompanied by satanic rituals including goats, pentagrams, actors dressed as the pope and a giant sized Lamb-man (think full on original 1973 film ‘Wickerman’).

“Instead we replaced all those elements with a fire-breathing, sword wielding dancer named Lauren, which when combined with rock music, what’s not to like?!”
